We are cut for the Northern Grade. A U. S. Made traveling pop up market that connects the designer direct to the end consumer. Functioning almost like a trade show, but available to the public. The Squad had the pleasure to participate in the debut of the DC Market. See recap photos by Emmanuel Afolabi Continue reading “The Squad at Northern Grade (recap)”
We loaded up the sprinter and took a journey to Brimfield, Mass. The Grand father of all flea markets. Some say that this was the first flea market in America. People from all over the world travel here to see multiple fields of awesomeness! World class collectors and dealers bring out their finest wares in hopes to service the most elite pickers and designers. The Coach linked up with photographer Louie Kovatch from Urban Renewal, to document the experience.
Allston Outfitters debut their 2013 collection at Agenda NYC. The response to the brand was great, the buyers were really impressed by the visual display and the collection was refreshing. The creative team at Allston did a great job merchandising the collection, providing just the service the street and skate market needed to fill the void for progressive fashion that people can relate to. Yes the tradeshow was filled with camo, but the Allston collection’s approach to fatigue told an orignal and current story of Americana. We were able to work side by side with the brand to develop the visual story and also had the opportunity to influence design direction. Check out the recap photos from the tradeshow. The Status Shop on South st. offers an ideal platform to launchpad our brand in South Philly. First and foremost the guys at Status offer a place for local talent to showcase themselves in one of the busiest shopping districts Philadelphia has to offer. An opportunity for tourists to see what the city’s underground has brewing as well as a network for creativity to progress. Its rare to see this type of support from retailers in this city. A store that prioritizes local talent is long over due in Philadelphia. This is why we went the extra mile when delivering our trunkshow window display. Collaborating with L from Butchershoprehab we were able to put together a youthful Industrial experience. Its time for the World to see what the locals here in the tri-state are made of. The Search+Rescue squad introduced the graphics from the first collection series, custom crew necks and also accessorized with our rad motorcycle jacket collection. Not to mention we pulled out the rugs, literally! Yes, merchandised within the collection were small leather woven area rugs to accommodate our #ruglife crew.
